The Nebraska Commission for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (NCDHH) is seeking an Executive Director to lead the agency’s strategic vision, operations, and statewide impact. This role is responsible for advancing communication access and ensuring effective, equitable services for Deaf, DeafBlind, and Hard of Hearing Nebraskans.

The Executive Director serves as the primary liaison between the Commission, the community, and state government—guiding policy development, representing NCDHH in legislative and public settings, and fostering meaningful engagement with stakeholders across Nebraska. This position oversees agency programs, staff, and budget, while working to strengthen partnerships and expand access to resources and services.

NCDHH is seeking a collaborative and forward-thinking leader with a strong understanding of Deaf culture, communication access, and the diverse needs of Deaf, DeafBlind, and Hard of Hearing individuals. The ideal candidate brings experience in advocacy, public service, and organizational leadership, with a commitment to building systems that promote equity and access statewide.
