Perspectives Corporation is seeking several dedicated and reliable Direct Support Professionals (DSP) to join our Deaf services team. There is an opportunity to work in both Youth & Family Services and Adult Services. All shifts are available (1st, 2nd and 3rd). Salary based on based on experience and ASL skillset.
Perspectives Corporation is hiring immediately, specifically in Coventry and West Kingston.
Shift differential pay for all weekend 2nd and 3rd shifts!
Perspectives provides an array of therapeutic services accessible to individuals who are Deaf or Hard-of-Hearing in Rhode Island from in-home early intervention programs to adult programs. Our specialized team is proficient in American Sign Language (ASL), or are native users.
Job Responsibilities
Household management (cooking, cleaning, laundry)
Building and maintaining healthy friendships and relationships
Administering medications
Transporting individuals to work, appointments, and outings
Exploring recreational activities that reflect the individual’s interests
Requirements
Proficient in American Sign Language (ASL)
High School Diploma or equivalent
Familiarity and comfort with Deaf culture
Access to an insured vehicle and a good driving record
